Working with many early-stage entrepreneurs in the F&B areas, developing products, working on R&D for a future restaurant concepts, finding a place for tasting, media launch, etc... we realized that something is missing in Shanghai.

What is a shared-kitchen ?

We have been investing quite sometime in gathering one-to-one feedback from founders who could have a good use of a space with full kitchen, fridges, and proper license in order for them to start working, producing and selling their value proposition potentially both offline and online through the platforms without having to sign a 3 to 5 years lease, or get something right before jumping into  launching a production for 1,000kg MOQ / SKU... 

To be clear, this place will not be replacing a proper Central Kitchen who could make product who could be retailed in stores, or sold to other restaurants for them to use, transform and serve. However it should be good for you to push your MVP, try your concept, build your brand and community in order to increase the quantity before moving to a food factory but with a proven concept, products and sales.

Who is it for ?

Entrepreneur - Are you someone good at cooking, having some recipes that your friends, colleagues, and neighbors love already, and believe you could have it mass produced and ready to sell ?

Chef and Restaurateur - Are you a Chef or Restaurateur with a concept in mind but looking at trying out recipes, training a team and doing a soft opening through pop-ups to try out your concept before signing a 3 or 5 years lease ?

Brand - Are you a brand ambassador looking for a space to organise event, tasting, masterclass, PR Media launch and bring KOLs around ?

Why this survey ?

We are now pushing a survey to gather a lot more feedback and get a better sense on how big is the need so that we could bring the case to potential partners and investors to help us make this happen sooner than later in Shanghai !
