ZEYA Hard Seltzer signs partnership agreement with EMW Fine Wines

Partnership with EMW will fuel rapid market and channel expansion across Greater ChinaSHANGHAI

May 7th, 2021ZEYA Hard Seltzer (ZEYA) has signed a partnership agreement with EMW Fine Wines (EMW), a major wine, sake, and craft spirit importer and distributor throughout the Greater China market, to expand its route-to-market strategy and national footprint.

Since launching in 2020, our primary distribution focus has been DTC, which provide a direct link to our customers, offering valuable customer data and insights and enables close interaction to facilitate rapid prototyping of products and effective marketing campaigns. Through DTC, we’ve been able to leverage China’s robust e-commerce landscape and logistics infrastructure to offer our customer’s nationwide product access with limited investment.

The partnership with EMW will introduce ZEYA to EMW’s expansive on-trade, off-trade, and e-commerce channels in Mainland China with future opportunities in Hong Kong and Macau. The full range of ZEYA products will be officially launched to all EMW channels from May 17th.

“We are thrilled to be working with EMW. This is an excellent team with tremendous expertise in the importation and distribution of wine and spirits in the Greater China market. This immediately increases our distribution capabilities and allows us to focus on our craft on creating great-tasting, innovative beverages.” – Eric Hoang, ZEYA’s Co-founder.

Founded in 2003, EMW is a major wine, sake and craft spirit importer and distributor throughout the Greater China market. Specialized in family owned wineries, sake breweries and craft spirit producers from the most renowned regions in the world, EMW is now exclusively distributing more than 900 labels from 16 different countries to luxury hotels, gastronomic restaurants, high-end retail chains, online shops, wholesalers, distributors, and private customers in more than 160 cities in China.

“We are very glad to work with ZEYA in all our distribution channels, to expand our portfolio to a totally new and rising category – Hard Seltzer. ZEYA is refreshing and full of taste, we believe it is not only an upcoming trendy but a fascinating product appealing for the younger generation. We look forward to sharing ZEYA healthy lifestyle with all our clients.” – Liz Li, EMW’s E-commerce & Digital Marketing Director of Greater China

In addition to EMW’s strong distribution network, EMW will also support Zeya with comprehensive marketing capabilities and partnerships with social media platforms and KOL agencies.
